Welcome to Sihanoukville Online!

By Casper | October 10, 2007

Have you ever been to Sihanoukville?

If the answer is yes, then you already know exactly how I feel about the place. I’ve, so far, only visited four times during 2007, but already I cannot think about living anywhere else.

To be honest, after my first visit I was glad to be returning to Thailand, I hadn’t lived in Thailand for that long and was still impressed by the Country as a whole. As such I was blinded to its shortfalls. Only on my second visit to Sihanoukville did I see the place as a genuine alternative to Thailand.

The pace of life is quieter, the people are much more friendly (in general) and the food is delightful. Whilst I do like spicy food, Thai food still does occasionally get the better of me!

I’m so ‘taken’ with Sihanoukville that I have decided to leave Thailand and relocate to its sandy shore.

I’ll be detailing my move here on this website. Why not add us to your ‘favourites’ now?
