Virak-Buntham has a night bus to Sihanoukville departing Phnom Penh at 1AM from their Street 106 Night Market office (near the riverside). Price 7USD.

Their night bus from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh departs at 8PM, price 7USD.

Their office in Sihanoukville is near Oasis downtown, next to Capitol Bus company.

With the board backup today, I think some replies to this topic have not re-appeared yet? I recall folks mentioning the hazards of Hwy 4 at night. I do agree with this, having had to drive it, (in part) after dark myself a couple of times.

Another point about this service. I am figuring that this bus would arrive in Snooky at about 6am? That'd be ok for Khmer locals and expats who have a home to go to.
But tourists booked into, or seeking a room - this is an awkward time to hit Snooky. I cant imagine many places that would not charge an extra days tarrif for an arrival that early?

I think buses in general are a good way to do long distance in Cambo...

I have taken taxis with good drivers...its the other buggers are a pain

Might is right on the Cambo roads....but...

Night buses are a nightmare...
