I have not stayed at the Sokha..

however have visited many times...

It is quite a large resort with very well kept gardens..

A bit too neat for me...I like the jungle look

I have also seen the rooms and they are well appointed..

They are in a corperate international style ...kinda bland

It has changed a bit since last year...or maybe it was high season.. December /March

They did not want us to hang around the pool...residents only

Before you could pay a few $ and have the use of the pool and sunbed

The food is OK but not great...there are better restaraunts in town..

The beach is very clean and have upscale huts with bar/snack service...

There is no halking on the beach which is nice...

It is a relaxed place with no airs and graces...

Prices here vary a lot...between $80 (internet )and $260 rack-rate

Still never been here, but I know of a couple of guys that regularly pay a visit in the evenings to enjoy the view and live band. Drink prices aren't as bad as you'd imagine.
