This is my favorite hotel in Cambodia !!!

Its not really a hotel ...its like staying in a rich friends house,

and as such, the staff are very discreet which means you might not see them all the time,

you are therefore left on trust ...like the bar late at night !!!

There is a set dinner each night with few choices...

but very good quality...

Where it really differs from most hotels is the quality...

from the sheets...beautiful fine cotton..the large rooms with power shower ..

to the Art Deco furnishings..and the local timber top tresle tables..30ft long !!!

and the infinity pool...

I could go on and on about this place...

It was to my taste but maybe not for everybody as it is VERY quiet.

another little drawback is the price...starting at $130 a night upwards

Where you stay is normally where you feel comfortable

and where you can afford...If you wanted a super chill out

in some of Cambodias finest NewKhmer architecture ..

(One of the restored buildings is designed by Vann Molyvann)

Its worth the blow out...:)

dacah, i need your phone number so i can call you for play by play instructions when i get back to cambo. 2 weeks of gypsy living on bikes, speed dialing you would save me a lot of trouble.

2 wheels, not seen you with pedals tho Dacah, only with a moto.
Didn't see you fall off sober or otherwise ( me or you) so your doing fine, just a confidence thing, you know the lack of rules of the road, and that the Barang is always wrong in an accident.
Rule 2 is do a runner if you do have an accident and send back a 3rd party to sort it out. Notwithstanding that :
It is hard work riding for any length of time tho, and for that reason, I would think very hard about a long tour up to Battambang.

Not a chance I would try to go to Battambang by moto...

but maybe Kampot or Kep...with lots of stops :)

and hopefully no accidents...being my fault and all that goes with it...

Would need a dirt bike for that and still have never ridden one...

nearest thing was sitting on Paddys bike ...stationary

I have never been to Necker...

it does have an edge on other private

and chilled out places...but at nearly $50,000 a night...!!

It makes Knai Bang Chatt a bargain at $5000 for all 11 rooms
