Local Fish Restaraunt...behind Hard Rock

I will try and describe where this place is !!!
A few turns away from The Hard Rock !!
I have eaten here only twice and was very impressed each time..
It is local cusine with a touch of Chinese about it..
The first time I was there we got in at about 7.30 and the place was buzzing..
There were 4 of us and we were seated with menus in our hands very quickly..
The menu is quite simple...different types of fish ...either baked ...grilled or stirfried..
One thing I noticed is that whenever you try to order "Fried Rice"..it is a complete dish
you have to have either Beef Chicken or Fish....or Egg..
This goes for most of the local restaraunts..
First time I went there I had Prawns Stir Fried..very tasty...
This was laid out on a bed of stirfried veggies ...no MSG..very crisp
Second time I had the crab...this dish consisted of 4 crabs..it was tasty but very messy
Local crab is not the same as the ones we get "back home"
These are much smaller and you need to be shown what parts to eat..
They are a very sweet and a lot of work..
My partner had baked fish in salt...not salty tasting when you broke it open..
Beautifully cooked with the texture of the white fish coming through..
If you dont understand the menu ...you can go to the kitchen and see what appeals to you
Each time I have been there it has been packed with local people..
Fills up at about 6.30pm and nearly empty by 8pm
Best to get there early as they run out of the bigger fish .."no hav..finished "
Meal for 2 (egg fried rice full dish )...including tip and a couple of beers for me ... $18

Hi Dacah, is this the place that six of us went to some time back? I've been there once again since, just can't remember the name.
