I have been interested in Cambodian Architecture since day 1 a few years ago...

Firstly in Siem Reap with Angkor Wat and the surrounding buildings...

These sites have been well documented...

However a trip to Kampot/Kep really fuelled my interest last year

and I have been back there just 3 times ...mainly taking pictures of the old abandoned villas..

I love them and they have given me a great chance to do serious research ...

Snooky has had its fair share of good 60s design ...Independance Hotel....The Catholic Church designed

by Vann Molyvann

in the early 60s...which I visited last March...great design

Tonight I saw on the net that the old railway station in Snooky is an Architectural Gem..

will get to see it in December...

I have spent many delightful hours hunting around Phnom Penh seeking out the architectural gems...

and there are many...

Anyone know of interesting 20th C buildings in Snooky..??
