Min Dong Yong, 39, a Korean tour guide, assaulted Sovann Pirun, 29, a moto taxi driver near The Angkor Hotel in Svay Dangkum commune, Siem Reap district and province at 2:45pm Thursday. Sovann Pirun told the police that Min Dong Yong refused to pay him the due moto taxi fare and then assaulted him. The moto taxi driver has now demanded US$2,000 in compensation from the assailant,  who has been arrested and jailed by the local migration police.
