Seems that the owners of the bars over at the Golden Lion Plaza are working hard to attract the ‘low season’ crowds. Since moving to Sihanoukville, it’s been hard to avoid the Pool Tables, most bars have them and they are extremely popular with expats, visitors and local girls alike. So obviously I wasn’t slow to put my name down for this Pool tournament, it wasn’t until I arrived the Golden Lion Plaza event organised by Pacino’s Bar and Rubix Bar, that I discovered it was SpeedPool. SpeedPool is a relatively new development in Pool, basically you play alone and simply have to pot all the balls in four ‘racks’ as quickly as possible. HEY Caspar !! HEY Caspar! Thank you for attending….it was our first attempt at anything so your very nice input is much appreciated…however, I had forgotten to put the food nibbles out on the bar Doh ! Kiitos osallistuu…. Se oli meidän ensimmäinen yritys mitään, joten very nice panos on paljon arvostettu… kuitenkin, olin unohtanut asettaa elintarvikkeiden nibbles koskevan bar DOH!

Good to see a bit of life come to the bars at the Golden lion Plaza they have been trying for a long time with some owners putting a lot of effort in. I will try & get down for a cuppa with Paddy.
