Party at Ana Internet and Guesthouse

ana big Party at Ana Internet and GuesthouseI was kindly invited by Ana, to Mick’s Birthday Party yesterday at Ana Internet and Guesthouse, knowing how popular these two are around town, it was guaranteed to be a good one!

The party started at six and the place was fairly well packed come seven, there must have been well over 100 people in attendance. Obviously lots of other Sihanoukville Business Owner friends were there, the guys from the Beach Club and Beach Road, also Mark from the Corner Bar to mention but a few.

I was informed by Birthday Boy Mick that he had prepared all of the tonight fayre himself, despite this I still thought i’d give it a go (only joking Mick!). The Chilli, I can honestly say was great. He prides himself on his Chilli and now i’ve tasted it, he’s justified in doing so ….. I’ll even admit to sneaking back up for a second portion!

The party went on and everyone was in good spirits, the drinks and conversation flowed extremely well … all too quickly though, the cake had been cut, the birthday song sung and things calmed down to friendly banter between good friends. But not for long as Mick had other plans!

Next port of call was the Kangaroo Kitchen where a live band was playing, then the party moved on to Blue Storm and into the Karaoke rooms. I’m almost glad to say that I wasn’t able to continue at this point! I was dragged into the Freedom Bar by a couple of Australian friends that had just arrived in town, I hadn’t seen them for quite some time, so it’s only right I stayed with them ……. i’m sure I missed a great time at the Karaoke though!

Ana’s consists of a number of businesses, the Internet Shop, the Guesthouse, a Travel Agency, a Visa Agent, not to mention Ana’s Khmer Kitchen which offers a wide selection of tasty local, thai and western food. The staff are friendly, professional and always willing to help.
