Sihanoukville has an abundance of quality beaches. The sand varies from golden to white depending on which one you choose, the sea is the same comfortable temperature across them all and, generally, the only thing that varies is the amount of people you wish to share ‘your’ beach with.

One of my personal favourites is Victory Beach.

It has all of the facilities you could wish for, such as drinks stalls, food sellers, even an internet cafe is being erected out of an old ‘twin turbo prop Aeroplane’! What it doesn’t have though, is loud music, hawkers and too many people. Bliss.
